Our Story
Who we are
We’re a small batch, handcrafted non-alcoholic sparkling water company rooted right here in the Cedar Valley, Iowa. What started as a fun experiment—home brewing beer that slowly turned into kegging sparkling water in our home bar—has grown into a passion we can’t stop sharing.
We didn’t set out to build a sparkling water company, but once we started, we couldn’t keep up with how quickly we were drinking it ourselves! That joy sparked the idea that others might love it just as much.
Dave, ever the innovator, blended his love of technology with our sparkling water obsession, and from that mix came system> recharge—our refreshing take on sparkling water with a twist of AI.

Behind the name System> Recharge
System> Recharge blends a couple of different concepts:
First, we have been brewing beer since the late 2000’s, during COVID this hobby shifted to sparkling water. The reason for the shift was when we were completely isolated we had about 4 cases of homebrew beer to drink with 2 batches fermenting … and only me to drink them. I couldn't drink fast enough to keep up with my hobby (I’m getting old :-) ). So I needed something to do that my family would enjoy and ended up transitioning my equipment to create and keg sparkling water.
Second, as a Computer Science grad from UNI I have always loved technology. With the recent rise in AI in everything we do, I thought it would be fun to blend sparkling water with technology.
System> Recharge is a fantasy concept blending sparkling water and technology together. What if each of us are already AI Agents? We don’t have to plug ourselves in to recharge our batteries, but we do need to keep the electricity in our bodies flowing. Drinking System> Recharge is a way to keep ourselves functioning without having to plug in, keeping our electricity flowing.
